Nearly 80 minutes. I started at 15.30 and now it is 16.40. You put yourself as a "follower" on my blog, but I won't put you on my sidebar, because there you would be alone for all eternity. I don't know what this follow business is! Though I know it was started by Twitter.

Yet you do have good links. First I thought you were the "undercover painter", and that is a great title.

I do not enjoy abstract art very much. I rather liked Rothko, but not his own ideas of his art. I thought that blue thing of yours on your main page, blue and white plus some perspective, that was inspired by Rothko. But I do not like this sort of dreaminess that Rothko's paintings produce, and I would not call that meditation. It's a dreaminess similar to what makes you watch fish in an aquarium or on a screen saver.

The problem with abstract art is that it favours insolence on the part of the artist and on the part of people who need to hang upo something in their offices and want it to look neutral, slick, and mute (and if possible just a wee bit frightening, too).

In my town they put up a huge rectangle with teeth supposedly representing a gate, a welcome gate with open locks, without noticing that the damned thing looks like the guillotine.
